Sel respects your personal data and ensures that the personal information that is provided to us or that we otherwise obtain is treated confidentially. The following summarises the implementation of the information obligation laid down in the GDPR towards the data subject(s) whose personal data Sel processes.
Data protection officer and communication
Sel processes personal data in order to be able to offer products and services, to improve products/services and to be able to communicate personally with you as a data subject. For the evaluation of our products/service provision, Sel frequently makes use of a third party. As a data subject, you yourself can choose to participate in this and to provide your personal data for this purpose. You can also sign up to receive a newsletter or other forms of communication from Sel.

Sel processes the aforementioned personal data because it has been provided by you as a data subject on your own initiative, has been obtained in the context of the concluded contracts, has been made known to us by third parties, or has become known through public sources.
Basis for processing personal data
Sel processes the aforementioned personal data exclusively on the basis of the grounds listed below as stipulated in Article 6 of the GDPR:

- Performance of a contract;
- Obtained permission from the data subject(s);
- Legitimate interest;
Sharing personal data with third parties
Sel will only share your personal data with affiliated companies and with third parties insofar as this is necessary for the provision of services and for the development, production and delivery of products and with due observance of the aforementioned purposes.
Retention period for personal data
Sel does not store processed personal data for longer than necessary for the aforementioned purposes of the data processing or than is required by legislation and regulations.
Privacy rights of data subjects
A request for inspection, correction, restriction, objection, transferability of data, deletion of your personal data or withdrawal of previously given permission can be sent to the contact details below. You will receive further notice from us within four weeks of receipt of your request.
There may be circumstances in which Sel cannot, or cannot fully, implement your request as a data subject. These could include statutory retention periods.
