Under the brand name The Old Dutch Farmlight®, SEL Chemie B.V. produces various atmospheric products that are particularly suitable for creating a pleasant and atmospheric ambience both indoors and outdoors. Think, for example, of bio-ethanol for your fireplace, lamp oils or torch oil.
Our Old Dutch Farmlight® (organic) lamp oil citronella is intended for outdoor use and can be used in both oil lamps and garden torches. SEL Chemie B.V. offers this lamp oil as standard in a transparent PET bottle with a capacity of 750 ml or 1000 ml. The organic citronella lamp oil is a sustainable lamp oil based on the raw material methyl ester, which is obtained from palm oil via a natural process. An alternative paraffin quality is available for customers outside the EU. Under European legislation, this alternative paraffin quality is not authorised within the EU.

Our company passes the strictest quality tests and both SEL Chemie B.V. and PetroHeat Nederland B.V. are NEN-EN-ISO 9001 certified for the waste management and distribution process. Our QHSE officer ensures that our quality regulations are strictly adhered to. The production of our PET packaging and (child-resistant) closures takes place in a production environment that meets the standards of the BRC-IoP with AA level.
Many of our products are flammable, so safety and responsibility are our top priorities. We adhere to strict guidelines for the processing and storage of products in our PGS15 warehouse, and transport also complies with ADR legislation. The entire factory is of course supplied with green energy, as we are also aware of our responsibility with regard to climate protection. All our products are available in organic quality.
