SEL Chemie B.V. is a professional coloured lamp oil manufacturer and supplier of high-quality mood and decorative fuels. Under the brand name The Old Dutch Farmlight®, we produce coloured lamp oil based on methyl ester, derived from palm oil through a natural production process. This makes our lamp oil a suitable choice for customers who value sustainability, quality and consistent performance.
Farmlight® coloured lamp oil is designed for use in decorative oil lamps and is available in four colours: red, yellow, green and blue. The product is supplied in transparent bottles with capacities of 750 ml and 1 litre, allowing the colour of the oil to remain clearly visible.
All bottles are fitted as standard with our unique child-resistant EasyFill® cap, which allows oil lamps to be filled safely and without spillage. Depending on customer requirements, the coloured lamp oil can be supplied with or without RSPO certification. More information about RSPO can be found on the website of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (www.rspo.org).
For customers outside the European Union, an alternative paraffin-based quality is available. This variant is not permitted within the EU under current European legislation.

As many of our products are flammable, we follow strict guidelines for processing and storage in our PGS15 warehouse, while all transport complies fully with ADR legislation.
Our entire production facility is powered by green energy, reflecting our commitment to climate protection. All Farmlight® products are also available in organic quality, supporting sustainable product ranges.
